Last Friday 16 October, St-Luc printer’s received in the Concert Hall in Bruges the 9th ADMB Award for outstanding service on the level of HR. This award is intended to distinguish personnel managers with an innovative approach to the area of HR and first and foremost emphasize the importance of professionalism in personnel policy. Being able to take this prize home is, of course, a great honour for us.

St-Luc aims to achieve an open and diverse company culture, in which all employees can feel at home. Through the project "(Be)ken onbekend" (“(Get to) know the unknown”), St-Luc will become actively acquainted with the unknown and so create diversity on the work floor representing absolute added value for the company, the employees and for the surrounding social network. “(Be)ken onbekend” has grown into a set of different initiatives and actions with the same central theme. Some of these actions and projects to become acquainted with what is “foreign” include the diversity plan, the 4-seasons plan and the training and education policy of opportunity groups.

All these activities have already contributed to a diversified, flexible and stimulating work environment and lead us to conclude that the innovative and high quality HR policy of St-Luc has hitherto proved successful. The fact that this was officially recognised by the ADMB Award 2009 is naturally the cherry on the cake. For our HR Manager, Fanny Dhondt, this is recognition of all the efforts and initiatives that she expended for us as a company in order to assume company responsibility.

This assessment strengthens our resolve to continue placing an undiminished emphasis on the policy, which we have outlined in collaboration with all St-Luc employees, in order to create added value and to create the basis of a better company climate!
